Surveillance video shows two men enter the store on the 14000 block of Juanita Woodinville Way Northeast and walk to the right, appearing to look at drinks or snacks. The two men then walk to the front of the store and point guns at the store clerk.
One of the men can be seen in the video going behind the counter out of frame, while the other robber in a red sweatshirt demands money from the register. The second suspect in a gray sweatshirt can be seen walking back into the frame and begins filling a bag with items from behind the counter.
One suspect can be seen pointing a gun at the clerk multiple times before both suspects run from the store. No injuries were reported.
An armed robbery was also reported at a Chevron gas station in Lake Forest Park early Tuesday morning. Police Chief Harden told KOMO News officers responded to the Chevron station, located on the 16800 block of Bothell Way Northeast, around 3 a.m.
Harden said two suspects entered the store, one of which was armed with a handgun, and robbed the clerk at gunpoint. The suspects then fled south through the parking lot.
A K9 unit tracked the suspects to the Lake Forest Park Animal Hospital. Harden said the K9 “showed a lot of interest in the parking lot area,” but that is where the track ended. Harden said that is “likely where the suspect vehicle was parked.”
Harden said the suspects who robbed the Chevron gas station matched the descriptions of the suspects in the other armed robberies that happened around the county.
