In a Facebook post, the Boise Bicycle Project announced on Tuesday that 200-300 bicycles still need to be donated for the Holiday Kids Bike Giveaway by the end of the week.

Here are some things you can do today:

- If you have used a bicycle in any shape, size or condition, bring it down to BBP as soon as possible. If the door is locked, just knock.

- If you do not have access to a used bike, adopt a dream bike for one kid and cover the cost of repairing a bike that another community member drops off. Do not buy a new one, that money can go further by fixing what the BBP does have.

- Volunteer to pick up bikes. Many people call to donate bikes, but they don’t have a vehicle to bring them in. Email benton@boisebicycleproject.org if you can help in this way.

- Post this to your social media, email lists, next doors and any other online platforms you can think of. Sharing this post is great, but creating your own post will go further.

- Rally your coworkers, gym, church, rotary and any other group you are a part of that could have a multiplier effect.
