NAMPA, Idaho (KBOI) -- A 37-year-old Boise man has died after getting hit by a SUV in a Nampa parking lot Friday morning.

The incident took place at a Chevron gas station at 5950 east Franklin Road around 7:51 a.m. Police say the driver was a 27-year-old Nampa woman. The pedestrian, Jose Campos-Sanchez of Boise, died from his injuries at a hospital in Boise.

The crash is still being investigated, and the Nampa Police Department says no charges have been filed at this time.

Officers say there is no evidence pointing to alcohol or drugs. One probable cause, or contributing factor, may have been the sunlight blocking the driver's vision.
