Shedeur Sanders recently had an earful from a fellow quarterback, Cam Ward during the Fourth of July workout in Miami. They reportedly met for a summer workout session before sailing on a yacht for the grand celebration of Independence Day by watching the fireworks.
The Colorado Buffaloes quarterback and Miami Hurricanes quarterback were joined by Virginia Tech’s Kyron Drones for practice. Unfortunately, as compared to his rivals, Sanders performed inadequately on the practice field, which, if viewed from the preparation perspective for the college football season-opening matchup against the North Dakota State next month, was quite concerning.
This compelled the Miami quarterback to lash out at Sanders’ performance in the practice session, saying he lacks focus and needs to stop “bulls**ting.” It was actually Sanders who teased Ward for arriving late to the session, which triggered him.

As Ward’s harsh words to Sanders went viral on the internet, the latter set the record straight by claiming there was no bad blood between both the quarterbacks. He also asserted that this didn’t cause any spots in their relationship by sharing an Instagram story from the Miami trip.
Sanders shared a few snaps of him practicing with Ward at the summer camp, where they competed against each other on the football field as well. He tagged the Miami quarterback in the story, who also reposted it.
Sheduer’s father also got involved by sharing that there are no burning bridges between the quarterbacks and they merely had a banter as shown in the video.
