Comcast, the country's leading cable and broadband communications provider, has
signed on as the title sponsor of the 14th Annual Comcast San Jose Jazz Festival. The Festival takes place August 7-10 in and around Plaza de Cesar Chavez in downtown San Jose, CA. The festival celebrates bringing free jazz to the Bay Area and features hundreds of musicians on multiple stages devoted to Latin and salsa, big band, blues, ensemble and straight ahead jazz, as well as fusion and world music.

Artists scheduled to appear at the festival include Nnenna Freelon, Jimmy Heath, Cubanismo, Yellowjackets, Greg Osby, Nestor Torres, Ricardo Lemvo & Makina Loca and Ledisi, as well as two of the hottest rising stars in jazz, 15-year-old guitarist Julian Lage and 18-year-old pianist Taylor Eigsti.
