Despite having 16 world title reigns in his kitty, there’s one thing John Cena‘s never done: be an Intercontinental Champion. But it does seem that Bron Breakker, who ousted Sami Zayn for the IC title at SummerSlam wants The Franchise Player to face him. After winning his first major title on the main roster, the former NXT Champion wants a piece of The Cenation Leader.

Speaking to SEScoops, Bron literally asked The Peacemaker star to grow some balls to challenge him for the Intercontinental Championship. The 26-year-old Raw star is on a run of his lifetime. Moreover, Breakker had previously expressed his desire for a Cena clash down the road. But admitted that it’d largely depend on his filming commitments.

The match is being seen as a major possibility now that John has announced his farewell tour. The fans shouldn’t be surprised if John Cena and Bron Breakker run into each other somewhat soon. If it does happen, what a learning experience it would be for The Unpredictable Bada*s. He’s been a mainstay of Monday Night Raw since getting drafted to the red brand.

Bron Breakker wants to face John Cena for the Intercontinental Title:

“John Cena. He has never won the Intercontinental Championship before. So I say come take it from me. Come take the Championship from me. Grow some balls, come take the Championship from me. Let’s go. Let’s do… pic.twitter.com/Dt8kYxa8YE

Despite a tumultuous start to her main roster journey on Raw, Breakker has pulled things back quite effectively. He was recently applauded by WWE HOF’er Goldberg for being ahead of his contemporary wrestlers. The former WCW Champion extolled Bron for his explosive agility and unmatched athleticism.

And why not? He’s been laying down bodies left and right on his way to the top. A few weeks ago, he flattened Ilja Dragunov. The latter was in utter dismay after a gut-wrenching spear to his mid-section. It was a SummerSlam qualifier that Breakker had seized.

How did Bron Breakker fare at SummerSlam?

This year at SummerSlam, there were a total of four title changes. That’s too much for one’s liking. However, each and every one of those belt swaps was justified in terms of storyline. As for Bron Breakker and Sami Zayn, they were the second match on the namesake PLE.

As one would expect, the former Honorary Uce was resilient as ever. But that just wasn’t enough to tame the Steiner descendant. Bron broke the shackles quite readily and pinned Zayn to become the new Intercontinental Champion.

It was Breakker’s pound of flesh considering how he went down at Money in the Bank last month. Now, it’d be interesting to see who’d be his first opponent for the title. By the looks of it, the former Wolf Dogs member is here to hurt people bad no matter what.
