How to check endorsements in the game?

Overwatch 2 comes with a unique feature called an endorsement system. The feature was also available on the original title but has been tweaked a bit for the second installment. Endorsements are basically a method to be rewarded for being a good teammate.

Once players finish any Overwatch 2 game, they will receive the option to endorse their teammates. An endorsement essentially means the player proved to be a good teammate. Players are free to decide what that means for them.

It could be anything from them having good communication and calls throughout the map or them healing teammates. Any of these can qualify as a reason for an endorsement.

In the first entry in the franchise, there were different types of endorsements given depending on what players wanted to praise a teammate for. Players can also endorse other players on the enemy team. Both of these features have been removed in Overwatch 2, which simplifies the entire endorsement system and makes it easy for players to understand.

How can players check their endorsement in Overwatch 2?

There are some ways for players to see their endorsement level. The fastest way to do it is right from the main menu. In the top right corner of the screen, players will see their name, alongside their icon and banner. If players right-click on their name, they will see a condensed version of their career profile. This will show them their equipped title as well as their endorsement level, which appears as a number within a small circle next to their name.

In Overwatch 2, endorsement levels go from one to five. If players come across a teammate with a level five endorsement level, they’re probably in for a great game, even if they lose.

If players don’t play the game or don’t get endorsed for a while, their level will go down. The only way to see what players have endorsed, players will have to pay attention to their screen at the very end of a game.

In the chat on the bottom left, players should get a notification pop-up each time players receive an endorsement. After that, players won’t be able to see who endorsed you, or what game they received endorsements from. Players can also check their friends and recent teammates’ endorsement levels from the Recent Players and Social tabs, respectively.

PvE game mode release date

The PvE experience could hit the game sometime in 2023. As per reports, the PvE system will be pushed to Overwatch 2 incrementally through a “seasonal” system.

In June 2022, Overwatch 2’s game director, Aaron Keller, confirmed the team is “still working on all of the PvE parts of Overwatch 2.” These plans could involve them pushing tidbits of the PvE gameplay.

While the devs might be aware of what hero will be released in the coming years, they have a plan in place for how they’ll release “the PvE experience we’ve always envisioned to be a part of Overwatch 2.”
