Juan Riedinger is a Canadian actor. His roles include television’s The Haunting Hour: The Series, Narcos, The Romeo Section, Good Behavior, Claws, and Riverdale.

His father is German. His mother is from Peru. Juan is married to English-Canadian actress Agam Darshi, with whom he has two children. He is fluent in Spanish.

Juan has said:

[my Narcos character Carlos Lehder] is half German, half Colombian, and I’m half German, half Peruvian, so it’s very similar genetically, and I think that helped in a way.

Juan’s maternal grandfather was Fuad Salomón Marcos (the son of José Salomón and Emilia Marcos/Murcus). Fuad was born in Sicuani, Peru, to Arab Palestinian parents, who were from Bethlehem.

Juan’s maternal grandmother is named Carmela “Carmelita” Alvarez. Carmela was born in Sicuani, Peru.
