CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Kroger launched its "Boost Bonus Days" sales event ahead of Amazon's Prime Day.
According to a news release, Kroger's Boost members can access exclusive benefits during "Boost Bonus Days."
"Boost by Kroger Plus offers members incredible savings every day, and those savings are about to get even bigger with Boost Bonus Days," said Tom Duncan, Kroger's vice president of Marketing. "Boost has already saved members millions on fuel, groceries and delivery fees, and now we are thrilled to celebrate our members with more discounts, free items and the opportunity to join or lock in another year of savings with half-off annual memberships."
During the event, Boost members and those who join will be eligible for free items and more discounts, including savings on Kroger's "Our Brands" favorites, totaling over $60 in savings.
Kroger customers can also get 50% off a new annual membership, while current members get 50% off their membership if they choose to extend it during the event.
Free Kroger brand items offered to Boost members include the following:
- Simple Truth or Simple Truth Organic Place and Bake Cookies
- Kroger Brand Spices, any variety
- Kroger Brand Cold Cereal, any size, any variety
- Private Selection Dry Pasta, 16 oz, any variety
- Kroger Brand Bacon, 16 oz, any variety
- Kroger Brand Sandwich Bags
To receive the discount on a Boost membership and to receive the free products, both new and existing Boost members will need to clip a digital coupon for the products and the membership on the Kroger App.
Customers enrolled in Kroger's membership program “can save up to “$1,000 per year on fuel, groceries, and delivery fees, anyway they shop.” (Those savings were based on a $99 Boost membership with two deliveries a week, $91 weekly grocery spend, 13 gallons per fill-up and Fuel Point redemption twice per month.)
Kroger's Boost membership comes in two tiers:
- $59 annual or $7.99 monthly Boost membership - Includes free, next-day delivery with a minimum order of $35.
- $99 annual or $12.99 monthly Boost membership - Includes two-hour free delivery on orders of $35 or more.
Boost members also earn 2X Fuel Points for every $1 spent, two free virtual appointments with a Kroger Health nutrition expert, as well as monthly offers and free items.
The Boost Bonus Days sales event will run from now until July 23.
