Recent leaks suggest a brand new skin line called Empyrean.
Recently, some rumors have been circulating around regarding a new skin line for League of Legends. And the skin line is supposedly related to the League of Legends’ new champion, K’Sante. Other than that, we did not have much information about the supposed new skin line.
But recently, a well-renowned leaker, BigBadBear, posted a video on his Youtube channel. In the video, he revealed some information about a brand-new skin line, stating that the skin line’s name would be “Empyrean” and feature eight new skins.
Empyrean means relating to heaven or the sky. So we expect a skin line akin to the Arclight skin line but with a 2022 flair. Regardless, the information he shared is said to be data mined from the League of Legends client. So there is a big chance that the leaks might be true.
Along with the information about the Empyrean skin line, BigBadBear also leaked this year’s Halloween skins. According to the leaks, the Halloween skins will include Bewitching Anivia, Bewitching Senna, Bewitching Cassiopeia, Bewitching LeBlanc, and Bewitching Neeko.

What champions will receive the Empyrean Skins?
From the information data mined from the League client, we managed to get some clues about the champions receiving the Empyrean skins. In the data, there was a file containing the letter “J,” “P,” “V,” “Z,” and “K,” leading us to believe that champions named with these specific letters will be getting the skins.
The ‘K’ here stands for K’Sante, but the other champions are hard to pinpoint. So, BigBadBear compiled a list of champions that might receive the Empyrean skin. The list includes Jayce, Jinx, Janna, Jhin, Jax, Jarvan, Pantheon, Poppy, Pyke, Varus, Vayne, Veigar, Vel’Koz, Vex, Vi, Viego, Viktor, Vladimir, Volibear, Zac, Zed, Zeri, Ziggs, Zilean, Zoe, and Zyra.
This list is quite a long one, but only eight out of the listed champions will receive a skin.
Release date
The Empyrean skins should release in patch 12.21, which should release on the live servers on Wednesday, November 2, 2022.
