Magda Linette was born on the 12th of February in the year 1992. She is a Polish professional tennis player. She made her tour debut in 2009. She managed to earn the career-high singles ranking of world No. 33 in February 2020. Linette has a total of four finals on the WTA Tour. She had won the title on two occasions.

Linette made her first appearance in a Women’s Tennis Association tournament main draw at the Internationaux de Strasbourg in May 2013. There she scored her first win at this level.

In 2013, she reached her first Women’s Tennis Association semifinal in Baku. Linette won her first Women’s Tennis Association Tour title at the 2019 Bronx Open. She won her first Women’s Tennis Association 125 title at the 2014 Ningbo International Open. Her best result in Women’s Tennis Association Premier tournaments is the quarterfinal of the 2016 Pan Pacific Open.

Linette managed to reach the third round of all Grand Slam championships. In 2020, she earned Fan Favorite Shot of the Year by the WTA. She won it for a slice forehand that she played. She got her second WTA Tour title at the Thailand Open, in her match against Peng Shuai.
