MERIDIAN, Idaho (CBS2) — According to a recent news release, Star Elementary School announced an upcoming assembly in collaboration with the Dream Factory of Idaho, a non-profit organization dedicated to fulfilling the dreams of medically complex children. The Dream Factory recently inaugurated its Treasure Valley chapter, marking a significant milestone for the community.
To mark this significant milestone, the organization has chosen Paxton, a third-grade student from Star Elementary, as its inaugural dream recipient, also known as a "dreamer."
A third-grade student will be granted his dream of visiting Disney World with his parents in April, thanks to the generosity of the Dream Factory of Idaho. Star Elementary will host a special assembly on March 15 at 2 p.m. in the school auditorium. Paxton will be surprised by the news of his dream coming true during the assembly.
The event will be attended by representatives from local news media, city officials, as well as members of the school community.
